Thank you for your interest in joining the St. Joe's Mothers with Young Children (MYC) group. We are a group of moms with young children that live in Libertyville and the surrounding area. While we are part of St. Joe's Parish in Libertyville, we welcome members of all faiths. 

 

Our group hosts a variety of events such as meetings with guest speakers, park play dates, book club, mom nights out, faith events, many charity opportunities, and a Motherhood Journey support group*. We try to vary days and times of events so that everyone has a chance to attend something regardless of work status. Attendance is never mandatory, and there is no cost to join. We communicate via: 1) an email newsletter sent to all members, 2) our private Facebook group, and 3) RSVPs for events through this website. Our year runs from September through May, and we continue with our park playdates over the summer. 

 

*The Motherhood Journey Support Group embraces women struggling with fertility, baby loss, and adoption.The road to motherhood is not always a straight path. You are not alone! We hold you lovingly in prayer. The group operates as a sub-group of MYC, but is open to all women in the community, including those who do not yet have earth-side children.
